Our Operations

At the Department of Imaging and Functional Medicine, Akademiska Sjukhuset, we work with advanced MRI, CT, ultrasound, and conventional radiological diagnostics as well as advanced interventional diagnostics and treatment. The operations are conducted both on an emergency and planned basis, and we staff around the clock.

Your Mission

We are now looking for a booking coordinator who positively and actively wants to influence the development within imaging and functional medicine. Your tasks will primarily consist of booking and handling conventional referrals. You will work in our internal system WIM but also use other systems such as the journal system Cosmic. A large part of the work involves coordinating with referring departments, and you will have close collaboration with other professional categories within our operations. You will have significant direct contact with patients via phone and 1177.

You are an important link in the flow for the entire BFC and are also responsible for various ancillary tasks such as invitations and telephone service. You will be part of a group with a total of 10 coordinators.

Your Qualifications

We prefer that you are a radiology nurse. You have good technical knowledge and experience in handling phone queues. You have a good understanding of different types of examinations and are a regular user of booking systems. As a person, you are meticulous, structured, communicative, and service-oriented. A good approach is of utmost importance.

Your Competence

You are confident, have self-awareness, and have the ability to distinguish between the personal and the professional. You take responsibility for your task and drive your processes forward in a structured manner. You easily adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes.

The role requires you to remain calm and handle stress or pressured situations well and focus on the right things. Structure is important, and you plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively within set time frames.

Temporary position from January 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026, with a likely extension. 100% with start date as agreed.
